Wild ~1~

The moon was full, but the real full moon was the next night. We had moved into our new house in the woods. Yeah, right! My father was a biologist and zoologist. And my mother was a writer. So for both of them was perfect. But I and my brother Brian were not impressed. However, to get to the city had to drive about an hour. Both were not impressed that separate us from civilization. At least there was electricity. Everywhere the smell of forest.

Not everything was so <fun>. We had many duties and we cannot listen to loud music. It was a big problem for Brian. So he did something none of us did not expect. He offered me a union. Or in short… I wanted to have another sentient being, with which to speak. I agreed. However, I have benefited from this. At least we were both a common problem.

I’m Kelly and I am 22 years old. And my brother Brian was 19 years. We are both with dark hair and dark eyes. It’s quite alike. But this is just detail. As we arrived at night, we could not see much. Even their rooms. I have not even tried. I was tired and went straight to bed. I fell asleep instantly. Frankly I had no desire to come here because it hindered my studies. But… there is always a <but>… My father devices to study at home. This is true of Brian.

I woke up at 3:00 in the morning. I went down to the kitchen for a glass of water when I heard scratching on the back of the house. At first I thought I’m still dreaming. But when the scratching did not stop, I decided to go and check. It’s nice to step barefoot on the cold wooden floor. I passed a small corridor and came to the door. I pulled the curtain and looked through the small window. I almost dropped the glass of water. There was… was… a wolf. I was thrown back and leant against the wall. My heart was beating fast. No wonder. I just saw a huge wolf scratching the door. Even more frightening was that the animal saw me. I looked into his huge amber eyes.

I expect him to escape or at least scream of fear, but… Maybe because I was in shock. Just standing there. Swallowed hard and… I turned and slowly returned to my room. I hid under soft blankets. Fast asleep. Not waking up to the end of the night. It seemed that everything was just dream.
